Jéray Thompson-Murphy

Hello, my name is Jéray Thompson-Murphy. I am currently studying a course in Business & Finance. I have had experience in tutoring people between the ages of 9-16, in Math’s, which is my strongest point. At a young age, I had a desire to work within the finance industry and to be successful in that field, Math’s is highly important. Math’s is my favourite subject and there is nothing better than being able to share my skills and love for Math’s, with others.

I know many individuals may find Math’s difficult and there are ways to help with that. When teaching my students, I will break down everything so that they are confident and fully understand the topics we will be going through. I want to build a relationship with the students that I will be teaching and to ensure they feel comfortable and enjoy my lessons. My aim is for students to achieve their best and be the best they can be, whilst meeting their individual needs. Students can come to me at any point in their learning journey, as I will be building on their current knowledge and building up their confidence in this area.

TUTOR
Nasia

I’m a psychology graduate and I enjoy teaching. I have years of experience teaching children in both primary and secondary schools. I have also done one to one tutoring along side teaching. I think it’s most effective when you need to understand a topic and grasp in depth knowledge of any subject. One to one tutoring help you to improve your grades and keep up your motivation near the exams. Students can excel in any subject if they understand the topic well enough to be confident in answering the questions in their own words. One to one tutoring enables students with these skills to improve their learning methods through tailor made lesson exclusive to their learning needs. Many thanks

Name here

I’m a German native professional language coach of 4 years, originally from Berlin, Germany. I enjoy sports, poetry and literature. I teach all levels of German, beginners up to and including A Level and university German.

I also offer cold war specific history sessions and English language and English literature holiday workshops. I believe in a “one to one approach” and teaching through positive encouragement rather than “tell and do”.

I plan all classes according to level and the targets of my student and report back to parents if required. Students are always encouraged to express themselves and develop a natural flow. Intensive exam preparation is fully comprehensive. I provide all materials for all lessons. During term, holidays double lessons and intensive exam preparation workshops are available upon request.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and I am a keen cyclist. Creative writing and poetry are interests, which I have picked up when helping my sons with their school work in English and I would love to pass this knowledge and passion on to others.

When will you have your first lesson?
