We believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential. If you’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), we invite you to explore volunteer opportunities at Rose Education C.I.C.

What You’ll Do:

Our varied and flexible SEND support roles allow you to contribute your unique skills and interests. Here are some potential areas you could get involved:

  • One-on-one support: Provide individualised learning assistance, play
activities, or social emotional support to children with specific needs.
  • Group activities: Facilitate creative workshops, storytelling sessions, or
physical activities tailored to diverse abilities.
  • Administrative support: Assist with organising resources, maintaining
records, or preparing materials for SEND programs.
  • Fundraising and event support: Help raise awareness and funds for vital SEND initiatives or contribute to community events.
  • Mentorship and guidance: Offer friendship, encouragement, and a listening ear to young people navigating their SEND journey.

Why Volunteer with Us:

  • Make a lasting impact: Witness the positive change and joy your
    contributions bring to children’s lives.
  • Gain valuable experience: Develop transferable skills in communication, empathy, teamwork, and problem-solving.
  • Connect with a supportive community: Meet like-minded volunteers and staff passionate about supporting SEND children.
  • Flexible opportunities: Choose roles that fit your available time and
    interests.
  • Training and support: We provide comprehensive training and ongoing
support to ensure you feel confident and equipped in your role.

Who We’re Looking For:

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds with a genuine desire to support children with SEND. Enthusiasm, patience, and a willingness to learn are key qualities. Previous experience is not essential, but relevant skills or expertise are always valuable.
